Using Food As A Reward/ Dog Training

I often use food for rewarding a dog. I use it to lure my dog into a behavior that I want. Some dogs prefer a toy.

I work with my dog often because I want her to become fluent. A dog that rehearses becomes better at it.

Trick training is fun and I always encourage people to get involved more with their dog.

You may be wondering what I mean by getting the behavior first. That is exactly what I do, then I name it and keep on training.

A dog learns in stages and you can learn more by contacting MeccaCurtice@gmail.com

You can learn how dogs think and learn from a professional dog trainer. No matter what word you use with a dog that is learning a new behavior, the behavior is first then name it.

A verbal reward marker is important too.

A dog becomes confused when you repeat a cue, for example sit, sit, sit. A dog should be trained by using the cue only once.
