About Me

Passionate. Patient. Persistent. Pet-lover. These are just a few of the characteristics that describe her. She understands each dog is different and will work with yours to give them the specific guidance they need. Whether you’re thinking about getting a dog, have a new pet, or already own a pet with behavioral problems, she is here to help you.
She loves to read and research different breeds of dogs. After all they were once bred to serve a purpose. Toys dogs to Guard dogs there is a history on them all. So many are now domesticated but they still have needs. She will consult with you about enrichment and mind stimulation. Often these are forgotten about and are needed in a dog's daily life. You may find some good ideas in her blog post.
She is a nationally Certified Dog Trainer, Graduate of CATCH Canine Trainers Academy 2-year Master Program with experience and Certified Dog Behavior Consultant by International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants. She has completed the Aggression in Dogs Master Course and does her best to attend the Aggression in Dogs Conference each year, with other professionals.

Helping You Help Your Pet
Puppies start up packages this helps you to get started on your new journey with your puppy. Helping you to understand the puppyhood stage.
Obedience packages starting with basic obedience and then advanced. Your place or at mine beautiful 1/3 acre fenced in area.
Walk & Train (seasonal) Package Spring to Autumn you can learn how to train your dog without pain or force. Your place or mine.
Stay & Train a three-day package for 72 hours. Your dog stays with me and receives training from me during that time.
Reactive Rover (Seasonal) Spring to Autumn a 6-week class. Held at my place Mecca's All Breed Dog Training, Sheboygan, WI.
Behavior Modification starts with an Initial Consultation. You have come to the right person because I understand your dog is an individual and each case will be different. I do not use pain or force on a dog. Behavior modification does take time. Your dog's emotions are real. Your breed of dog is important to me. I want to get to the root cause. My methods and techniques are not like a band-aid fix.
Why go with private one-on-one sessions?
During these sessions you will learn from a professional. Your dog is a unique animal and an individual. Your dog is domesticated, and they have needs to be met. Often people forget that each breed of dog, was bred many years ago to serve a purpose. They had jobs around homes, farms and watching over land.
Initial Consultations are a great way to get started.

Walk & Train Seasonal 6-Week Package

Walking your dog should be a pleasure and not a struggle. Walking can be a nightmare without proper training. No matter what age, your dog is, there must be training started. Walking starts with communication from you. When a dog pulls, that behavior is being reinforced. In my Walk & Train you will learn where to begin. I use positive reinforcement training. Walk & Train is only offered from April to October. My training is outdoors in an environment that is good for both the dog and you. My goal is to teach you how to be in balance with your dog.
